Dr. Dosia Paclawskyj is a licensed clinical psychologist and NADD-Certified Clinician (National Association for the Dually Diagnosed Certified Clinician) who has spent her career working with people with autism and developmental disabilities. Dr. Paclawskyj found her passion during college when she spent summers as a camp counselor for children with special needs. She then pursued graduate study at Louisiana State University where she received her master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Paclawskyj continued with pre- and postdoctoral clinical training at Kennedy Krieger Institute and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, after which she remained as clinical faculty for 14 years. During this time, she also served as adjunct teaching faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Education and Towson State University.

At Kennedy Krieger, Dr. Paclawskyj worked with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders and challenging behaviors and provided training for pre- and postdoctoral fellows. She presented at national and international conferences and conducted trainings for schools, agencies, and service providers. In 2015, she shifted her focus and moved to Florida to work privately with two students with autism (one was nonspeaking and became Valedictorian of her class, and the other needed an executive functioning coach and graduated with honors) at Rollins College.

Taken together, Dr. Paclawskyj’s clinical experiences have shaped her vision to focus on dignity, respect, and person-centered care that addresses the strengths and aspirations of each client. Her mission is to structure treatment intervention as a partnership between the individual, their family and support team, and the psychologist who work together to help the individual pursue their goals and dreams.

Based in the Orlando area and licensed as a psychologist in Florida, Dr. Paclawskyj can provide in-person or remote clinical services within the state. Trainings for agencies and colleges/universities can be conducted nationally or internationally, remote or in-person..
